Hi i am John from Greece, i ve been trying to learn board repair the last year. I ve spent many hours watching tutorials and videos, mostly on youtube,. didnt find another good source actually.
And i ve been experimenting with every board i could find in my hand. Got a microscope, air hot station, and a jcb soldering iron with the tips i considered good.
Had and still have trouble finding some quality source flux, twizzers and solder. I have arround 10types but i cant seem to get the result i see on the videos.
My latest success was troubleshooting 2 x 8gb seagate drives. and latest catastrophe was trying to change the 2 cd3217b12 on my macbook air m1, and i blew alot of stuff with the hot air.
And they are so tiny that i cant even find them.
I would like to find maybe some training empty board that i can start experimenting with microsoldering. And a magic pill to make my hands less nervous when working on a real fix
